Apparently there is a following for Mingw-w64 and WPG System64 from Chess Programmers. Welcome! Whether you want WPG System64 or just gcc, you will find all you need here! As above, Codeblocks IDE has been added to WPG64, with more to come.
Note: Every single binary on this site is 100% Vista [SP1] and Windows 7 Compatible. (You can even use Vista SP0 with an unoptimized collect2.exe, which can be found in WPG System64.)
Welcome to Xenofears' Mingw-w64 Project Website! (With co-contributor Jon_y.) This is an official auxillary site to the project's home. It is made with the intentions of providing actual official beta binary distributions, properly maintained, with entire toolchains, consolidating all the information and patches that change so frequently as Mingw-w64 evolves alongside GCC, as well as document and be aware of all bugs so we can fix them as rapidly as possible, and to provide Xenofears' own self-maintained projects, WPG System64 (which is proof-of-concept for Mingw-w64, and will only grow more-so), as well as the brand new MSys Phoenix and Jon_y's individual updates to MSys that compose it.
We pride ourselves on our quick transparent help. Just visit us on irc (#mingw-w64 on irc.oftc.net:6667) if you need help! Do not ask about the unofficial WPG System64 or MSys Phoenix to anyone but Xenofears, however, please! You can ask general compiler questions.
Mingw-w64 began as a spin-off from the mingw.org project, with the original intent of building for 64-bit targets, and has grown a great deal since then. Our philosophy aims for Mingw-w64 to work as an extension of GCC, with public patches made upstream, and has recently gained its own unque -w64- host/target for our crt. Patches are rarely required anymore, and we have virtually full experimental GCC Support. Channels are open to re-merge back with mingw.org, but there has been no response thus far. If or when we rejoin, any patches will be made upstream and not give you any headaches.
Mingw-w64 is Stable, Compatible, and Transparent. It has been used to build GCC itself, and 64-bit native versions of our toolchain are now ready for download! With Multilib Support, and our own Windows 32-bit CRT Library, Mingw-w64 can be just as good with 32-bit as it is with 64-bit targets! In addition, help is right at your fingertips with our friendly team.
Win-Posix-Gcc [WPG] System 64 is Xenofears' Mingw-w64 unofficial (highly compressed) single-archive portable native 64-bit development and Posix system. It features a native x64 GCC and an entire top-to-bottom shared stable toolchain with an ever-growing list of libraries and applications, now into the hundreds. See The Project Page for information and download.
